Our bar “The Snug” and cosy lounge are open throughout the year, serving award winning local ales and ciders, and an exclusive wine list comprising labels emanating from all corners of the globe, including France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Chile, the USA and Portugal.
At The Bakers Arms we are particularly proud of our great real ales. Our main real ales are from the great Hobsons Brewery and Ludlow Brewing Co., both of whom have won several awards for their beers. Or try one of our guest ales from other local brewers including Three Tuns and the Woods Brewery. Of course, it goes without saying that we're obsessed with quality!
The Bakers Arms is a traditional roadside country pub full of character dating from the 17thCentury. Offering the opportunity for a relaxing drink, traditional pub games, or an aperitif before dinner in our Restaurant; snuggle with a good book by one of our two wood-burners in the Bar or Lounge, or in the summer months catch up with friends in the splendor of our spacious garden...with a suitable tipple in hand, of course!
The Bakers Arms bar, Lounge or Garden are also the ideal spot for a quiet meal away from the crowds, lunches are served daily (closed Monday’s except on Bank Holidays) from 12 noon – 3 pm; evening meals from 6:00pm – 9:30pm.
Our goal is to deliver fantastic customer experiences, with helpful, friendly staff; so come and enjoy a more relaxed drink in a slower-paced environment and leave the rush and bustle of the outside world behind for an hour or two socializing summer and winter.
Our Food and Drink
What's in our food and drink?
Where does it come from?
How do we maintain our high standards?
We seek to promote long-term relationships with our suppliers. Where possible we use local products and support local farming.
Where practicable, we work with suppliers, contractors and partners to minimise the environmental impact and encourage sustainable sourcing.
We endeavour to have up to 6 real ales available, locally sourced from within a 30 mile radius in accordance with the CAMRA LocAle initiative.
At The Bakers Arms we are proud to support our local food and drink partners.
